課程概述

城鄉村空間範圍的重新認定與劃定，在不同的年代、不同部門或研究機構，其使用目的、需求與慣例的差異，故自2000年已成為世界各國共同關注的焦點，特別是城鄉區隔的本質性探討，諸如什麼是鄉村、哪裡是鄉村、如何認定鄉村、什麼人擁有鄉村的特性等議題。有鑑於城鄉地區的確認，涉及政府推動各項政策措施、分配公共資源與調查地區統計資料之施政依據，諸如人口政策、國土規劃、國宅興建、就業市場結構調整、社會福利、醫療與衛生機構、公共建設配置，及教育資源分配等城鄉差距議題。因此，本課程的教學目標有三：（1）介紹世界各國城鄉分類系統；（2）導讀鄉村性與鄉村社會學的重要文獻；（3）引導學生進行城鄉差距的實證研究。

課程目標

（2）導讀鄉村性與鄉村社會學的重要文獻；
（3）引導學生進行城鄉差距的實證研究。

課程要求

1. 出席、課堂討論與家庭作業：40%
2. 專題報告（含口頭與書面報告）：60%
3. 參與課堂志工服務者和額外參與者，則酌予加分。
4. 無故缺席者，每次扣2分。
